I love Jags
I have always loved Jaguars, even from a young age. (14,15yo) but I didn't think I would ever be able to afford one. In 2007, we went to get my daughter a "new" car at an auction because she had totaled hers. We winded up in a bidding war over a1997 RED xj6, FOR ME. it was beautiful. We bought it with 150,000 miles on it and I put another 100,000 on it. But alas, it had a stroke (not dead just a little paralyzed on one side). So we decided I needed another car. But, I can't drive anything but a JAGUAR. So we settled on a 2004 xj8. It's silver :-( so it will have to be painted :-). I like the car but I must admit I am not over the '97 xj6. No matter what I love Jaguar and used I think they are a steal. This is a great forum. Lots of good information.
Welcome to the forum TShortRN,

You'll get no arguments over the desirability or value of used Jaguars here - just don't tell anyone else or they'll all be after them!
The later X308's have all the early engine issues ironed out so you've chosen a good replacement for the '97 X300.
As you've been looking around, there's no need to give you a link to the X308 section.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
