I'm new. Im in Jaguar Hell.
2005 XK8 convertible
So many things not working/not right.
Worst first. Over the winter the battery died. My fault. Jumped it. Thought all was well. We have eCheck in Ohio, Summit County. Of course it failed. Reasons given: monitors not ready 1) computer, 2), 3) oxy????? Took it to shop. He had it two months. Said it now had a major power drain. Kept running battery dead. Found an issue with windshield heater. Removed fuse and replaced battery with a new one. Replaced purge valve. Brought it home and ran it through eCheck. Failed again. Its got other issues but when I parked it last winter it ran and had passed eCheck the year before. Echeck said it needed to be driven "for awhile" to reset. Tried that too and it still failed. Now I have a car I cant put a license on. That's not much fun. Any ideas?

I'm sorry your Jaguar is giving you fits. I hope you get it all sorted soon so you can take advantage of the rest of summer.

Good to have you with us.
I'd be looking for a different shop!
