Welcome.

I suggest a re-ask in the X Type Tech Section.

Many things could be the culprit.

Good luck

Welcome to the forum richc6,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow this link
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. This is the place to post technical questions about your model. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

As your Intro doesn't mention the model, I looked it up in your registration and added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. This will appear automatically with your next post.

You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
