Default Infotainment upgrades for Jaguar X350

G,dayI have a 2003 X350 XJ8, (2004 onward in US) it currently has a Jagdroid fitted (please google or YouTube if you don't know what that is), it works ok but I find it's to low down for maps etc and picks up huge glare so I'm going to have a nice modern unit fitted on top of the dashboard located just above the clock (probably 9" Panasonic or the like) this should give me a really nice display without taking eyes completely off the road?, It should also save me having to utilise the Old Bluetooth module for hands free phone plus it will be great for my surround camera system, Those are the intentions anyway 😏 So I'm just wondering if anyone here has had experience of this type of thing? And if so how you found the experience?, I shall be having it professionally installed, my installer says no problem and said as I can either leave the Jagdroid unit in as a back up or refit the old screen and sell the The Jagdroid on eBay (help pay for new installation!&#128518 Also if it all works out ok I'll post the experience on here for others, Thankyou

Welcome again setter,

You have already posted an Intro one year after you registered three years ago:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...issues-240549/

This Intro forum is not the place to post technical questions. If members do have experience of this type of modification, they are more likely to see and reply to a post in either X350 or Audio/Visual Electronics forum

setter,

I've copied your question to X350 forum for advice from members with the same model. Here's the direct link to it:
