Default Inherited XJR

Hi there,

I am a new member of this forum and wanted to say hello! My grandad bought our XJR (x300) new back in 95. He sadly passed away 11 years ago and the car has been a bit neglected since then. Last summer however, we decided to restore the car. It now has been resprayed in its original metallic red, wheels diamond cut, new bespoke/handmade exhaust installed as well as various mechanical issues fixed. We still have plenty of issues that need rectifying but they are getting checked off one by one and I'm really enjoying this project.

We are from East Kent in the South of England, near London and Essex.

We have big plans for the XJR in terms of performance and want to see what performance we can get whilst being sustainable and maintaining the characteristics of the car.

Thanks for reading. I am looking forward to being part of the community!

Welcome to the forum Shinda's XJR,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
