I came her for vital info
I’m a New by to this site.
I’ve own a 2003, XJ8 3.6 for just over a year and I’ve fallen in love with car.
I am thinking about putting a 4.2 supercharged engine in it.
Can some point me to thread that covers what required?
is it a simple as taking out the 3.6 and dropping in the 4.2 with the ECU?
im opting to replace my engine rather than buy a XJR because I’ve built trust that I have a solid car.

Trust is a pretty good reason to re-vamp your current car as opposed to acquire another one you have no real idea of history etc.
