Intro a MUST
It has been said that Jag owners are only happy twice, when they first buy their car and then when they sell it...
Well I'm happy to finally have my dream car. It ticks all the boxes, metallic BRG, tan interior and although I thought I'd only ever stretch my budget to an XK8 have found an XKR.
I've owned and raced vee twin motorcycles and supercharged jetskis and loved the Jaguar marque since I was a kid. Many years ago I read about a conversion where a V12 was replaced with a 350 Chevy. It resulted in more power, lighter engine and better fuel efficiency... I remember thinking, "cool"
Now the proud owner of a supercharged engine what is a V8 and just happens to sit very nicely in the Jag. An 2004 XKR, lovin' it.
"Happy"... you bet !
