Default Intro. My sincere apologies for not doing this soonest

Hello Everyone.
I’m thankful for this form and for being part of it. The information is so valuable and interesting.
I’m Steve Tucciarello and I live in the suburbs of Rochester NY. My business is Dry Cleaning, Laundromats, Tailor shops and commercial real estate.
I grew up always working on cars and I’ve owned several classics. My last car was a 2004 Ford Thunderbird which has a Jaguar derived drive train. I loved that car and owned it for 9 years. I learned to appreciate Jaguar and had to own one. I came across a 2007 XKR convertible in Winter Gold with 62k miles that was very clean and bought it. Beautiful car and it drives amazing. I’m ready to park it in the garage for the winter and do the maintenance and replace a few parts.
Thank you for having me on this form.
Steve

Welcome to the forums Steve,

Good to have you with us.

I know you've already found your way to the XK/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

As you plan to garage your XK over the Winter, I recommend getting a CTEK (or equivalent) battery tender. Modern Jaguars are very sensitive to battery condition and state of charge.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
