Hi everyone! First post as a XJ40 owner. I've been a drifter for over 10 years now, always in an E36 chassis at some of the popular New England spots (Lebanon Valley, Limerock Park, Thompson Speedway). Decided at the tail end of 2022 that I wanted to finally part ways with the E36 chassis and venture into something weird and different to replace it with. I've always secretly been a huge XJ40 fan, and decided to pull the trigger. I've spent the last 18 months build this thing for the track, shooting for a June debut. Some sparknotes on the car: it's a '94 Vanden Plas with ~80k on the chassis. Bought it as a running driving car with a struggling transmission (broken O/D). It now has a B6284T Volvo T6 engine with a Borg Warner S300 turbo, BMW ZF320 5-speed manual trans, FV coilover suspension, Sparco EVO2 seat, Momo Heritage woodgrain wheel, MaxxECU standalone management, 650cc injectors, Hellcat fuel pump, etc. Car is finally up and running on a base map, scheduled for dynotune on 5/6!
