Introduction and question
Hello. I bought my dream car (2007 convertible Jaguar XK) in 2015. I have enjoyed every minute of owning it. Until recently. It seems like little things are falling apart more frequently this year. I’m on top of the maintenance and have it showing well at all times. I suppose it’s just getting up in age. It’s only got 78,500 miles and I’m the second owner (bought it with less than 22,000 miles). My question to anyone out there is this: my glove box door fell off (broke). I’ve been researching on getting a replacement, to no avail. Apparently, i need to purchase and replace the entire glove box. Before I go ahead and do that, I’m asking is this correct or is there a replacement door out there? I would prefer not to spend $1,100.00 for a glove box.

Aww, your poor Jaguar. I Hate it when things start falling off.
However, the Third Rule of Acquisition plainly states: "Never pay more than you have to."
There has to be some place you can get a glove box door at a more reasonable cost.
The section where Graham directed you will be a good start.
