Default Introduction from X100 new owner

Hello everyone
Firstly Happy New Year.

I am catching up on my admin and am determined to engage in the forum more!

I am a lifelong Jaguar fan and have been fortunate to have started young with a D-Type in my Scalectrix. For a short time parents had a grey MK1 2.4 auto before swapping for a new Mini 1000, not the same experience and a bit smaller in the rear seat! A friends fathers 3.8 S-Type MOD for lifts was experienced occasionally. I eventually managed to buy an olde English white MK2 in the mid 80’s, a MOD with no power steering that I owned many years and maintained. This was sold early 2000’s and I bought another Jaguar in 2019, missing my “Jag”.
The latest is a Jaguar XKR X100 cabriolet, Pacific blue, with 95000 miles on it. Previously owned by the trim and body shop director at JLR it has had some fettling done to body and trim, not at JLR!, and relevant upgrades to the engine. He also fitted an upgraded/smaller supercharger pulley, straight through big bore pipes and had it remapped at Paramount in UK.

There are a few bits needing attention as it ages gracefully and I am hope the forum can assist me and I can share some experiences.

Best regards, Martin
