Default Introductions - IroqRT

Hello to all!

I recently acquired a 1990 XJ6 out of Wisconsin. The car has been driven (128,000 miles) but well taken care of. Bought on a bit of a whim, but my family (wife and 3 sons, ages 12-15) really like the old car. Ran across your forum as I have working through some odds and ends to get her back up to snuff. Air conditioner was DOA - no response to anything. Fixed it by replacing the AC Controller. Very noisy fuel pump was fixed by simply replacing the fuel filter. Now, all I have left is drivers side automatic seat-belt that was also DOA. If anybody has a suggestion on what that might be - let me know.

I appreciate all the helpful suggestions that are already posted - Keep up the good work.

Thanks, IroqRT

Welcome to the forum IroqRT,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJ40 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link US Central - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
