i am a new owner of a 1985 xj6 with less than 64k miles on it. I recently had a tuneup, oil change and fuel pump installed along w/various other minor repairs. Everything works, with the exception of a tempramental sunroof (switch). The car starts and runs flawlessly excepting the occassional "disconnected" ignition. Occassionally when I turn the car off and go to restart it, it appears as if there's a sudden disconnect from the ignition to the starter. It sometimes remedies itself after a dozen attempts and occassionally it simply refuses, until an hour or more later, then it starts w/out hesitation.
