Smile jag happy

I am a new Jaguar owner with a 97 jaguar xk8 convertible. I live in the small town of Canton, NC.

I have always had American made muscle cars and the sports car thing is new to me.

I got the car at I hope a reasonable price to play with. Has a few issues but seems to be nothing too bad. As seems to be with others here it likes to throw codes.

Think I have everything sorted out except the feared 1643.

Sure hope you guys can help me out. I have a lot to learn about British cars and modern electronics.

Thanks for the site and hope to make many new friends here.

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues. Be sure to check there for info on the three weaknesses with your model - tensioners, cooling system and transmission fluid.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/lower-atlantic-nc-sc-fl-ga-66/
