Default Jag loving, crashed motorcyclist!!

Hello all you Jag lovers from ALL over the world!
I need lots of help.

I have loved Jaguars ALL my life. Generally admiring from a afar and my favourites, wait for it, have been the XJ6's!!! Seriously, been seeing them and wanting one for years, but 'needed different makes' (Volvo's) according to my lovely wife!

Also I have been a full on biker for the last 22 years! But I have now retired from riding with a bang on the head and a bit of a big scare (arrachnoid haemmorage)!

And so to my point. I have my insurance money (not very much) to buy my family a 'second car' of my choosing.

I want cool, classic, sexy and .......affordable. Had a think and realised I could finally get my Jag!!

Been looking and I think a beautiful 1996-2005 XK would suit my needs down to the ground?

Please give this newbie some guidance as I am sooooo excited about being a Jaguar owner at last (only thing that will keep me off bikes).

Cheers,

Matt

Welcome to the forum Matt,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

You want a Jaguar - that bang on the head must have been more serious than you thought.

Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/

Enjoy the search for your Jaguar and enjoy the forums.

Where I grew up, they're called Murdercycles.

Welcome to the forum, yep a Jag will keep you off a motorcycle. Mine have been pretty well laid up since I got my XJ6.(spend all my spare time in the garage working on it)
