Thumbs up Jag Mad Dave

Hi all i am Dave iv had a few Jaguars in my driving life time My first was a XJ6 4.2 dark red in colour with a beige coloured roof it was a gem of a car it was a 1969 Jaguar of Coventry stamped on the engine .It was a gift from my Dad on my 21st Birthday and iv loved them every since .When i say gift it was his first of all but he lived and worked in his van and hardly drove it but i made up for that and in those days petrol was only 45 pence a gallon ,Oh take me back please .I than had a few fast fords before going back to a Jaguar 3.2 XJ 40 what a car that was straight 6 as the 4.2 i had went on for ever however water used to get into the boot and it rusted to hell .Than i had a few S types but had lots of trouble with my 4.ltr one so got rid of that For the last 8 years iv been the owner of a Jaguar x358 face lift model 2.7tdi i love this car and i went from Ramsgate in Kent to Loch Ness Scotland on one tank for of fuel and still had enough for a few days before i filled her up again i have also added chrome to this car ie chrome light surrounds and wing mirror and other bits and bobs and it sticks out from the other x358,s and x350,s The interior is as new to .However for the last few months it has been of the road had people look at it to find out what is wrong with it but as for now no luck ,So i am so thank for to find this great site and i am hoping that some one on here may be able to help me .So in a nut shell i am 65 years of age fill more like 18 years of age but my body will not let be a 18 year old .I live in Ramsgate a nice part and drive a Jaguar X358 2.7TDI well it is what i call my hobby car and weekend and holiday touring car and i so want her back on the road. All the very best and hope to speak to a few of you soon Dave
