Hi.
I have a 2009 XF 3.0 diesel and due to tracking issues my front tyres have worn slightly on the inside edge. So I was going to swap front to back. Will this upset the TPMS? The information in the handbook says to replace sensor, drive fifteen minutes and leave for fifteen minutes And alls well. Will this work if I just swap my wheels front to back? Or do I have to leave the wheels on their correct corner and swap the tyres around?

The wheel location is performed automatically by the TPMS module using an 'auto-location' function. This function is fully automatic and requires no input from the driver. The TPMS module automatically re-learns the position of the wheels on the vehicle if the tyre pressure sensors are replaced or the wheel positions on the vehicle are changed.

Thanks for a quick responce. My XF goes into the garage next week for wheel alignment. I'll post how it all goes. Cleaner cars these Jaguars.
