Jaguar XK8
Hi everyone.
I am now ready to fulfill my dream and I am looking to buy a XK8.
this is the car that I have always dream of and I am looking on the market at the same time that I "convince" my "financial partner" (spelled W-I-F-E) that it is a good way of keeping me busy, entertained and motivated to do my duties around the house faster so I can go run to the garage and work on the car!
Wish me luck!

Welcome to the forum Trolkosty,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Probably too late for you to benefit from the advice but a non-driving wife is a great asset. One of the rare discussions I've had with my wife about vehicles was my LWB Land Rover Safari which she described as a 'tractor' and loathed.
Follow this link XK8 / XKR ( X100 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Welcome to another XK8 aficionado! The proper term for wives of British car owners is "She Who Must Be Obeyed."
I do indeed wish you luck with your quest. I was flabbergasted that my SWMBO suddenly decided that I deserved another Jag, after nearly 40 years without one. I wasted no time unearthing a 2006 XK8 coupé up in Portland, OR.
