Just bought first Jaguar
Hi, it said an intro was a MUST so here's mine:
I just bought a 2011 Jaguar XK and I love it! I am trying to get real user information on what I should look out for on this car. It has 60,000 miles on it and is black. I have always seen Jaguars and thought they were the best looking cars around and I never understood why I didn't see more.
I'm in Texas and love my jaguar and wanting to learn more about how to take care of it, that's about all. thanks!

I should expand on what I mean when I say "what to look out for". Are there any known issues with this car? I looked up timing belt replacement on it and as I understand it has a timing chain and no replacement is needed. Is there any general maintenance that I should do to prevent known problems with this model? Any insight is welcome
Welcome to the forum jmgws,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
(I've converted the 'XT' in your first post)
I can see you've already found your way to the X150 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. That's the place to ask about regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link US Southwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

As with Any Jaguar, the first and most important thing to watch out for is the danger of becoming addicted to driving it! LOL
After you accept that situation as a reality, then just drive the wheels off while taking care of normal maintenance that Any car needs. In return it will give you many Tens of Thousands of miles of faithful service.
