Just Bought My First Jaguar
Hi, guys! I bought my first Jaguar two days ago, the only trips it's made is from the seller's house to mine and to work and back twice and I'm already in love.
I'm not a wealthy guy, but I've always loved the brand and when I started car shopping (after living in a city where having a car was almost more of a burden than a luxury, I found myself in Los Angeles... where having a car is a necessity) with no trade in and not a lot of money to spend. I was looking at 10-15 year old Hondas and the sort, when I started stumbling across a number of XJ6's in my areas that were in my several thousand dollar price range. I knew right then and there what car I was going to buy.
Best... Decision... Ever.
She's a '97 XJ6 with the long wheel base, a few minor issues (but I got her at a steal of a price due to owner's need to sell due to a divorce), and I can't wait to spend the next year making her into the car I know she can be. If my next car isn't another Jaguar, I've done something very stupid.
