Default Just got my 2nd jag. Am I nuts ? Lol

Hi everyone. I am not here very often but want to say thanks to all the posts regarding jaguars. My 1st 98 xjr is now off to the next buyer. I think he will be satisfied with it. Over time I think it almost was rebuilt over the last 15 years and 100k miles that I put on it plus the original 80k miles.

Anyway just bought a 2000 xjr. It is beautiful and only has 60k miles. It has already welcomed me by not starting and wanting to see the jag dr. Hope the cat gets well soon and lasts me as long as my 98 xj8 did. Tensioners are in the near future but hopefully not today.

Wish me well ! 😀

Welcome again Jdthomas,

Only three posts since your original Intro .....

No need for any links from me as I can see you know your way to the X308 forum.

Get those tensioners done and a transmission fluid change and the 2000 XJR should go as far as your last Jaguar.

Graham

How Many of us can tell the same story!! And we enjoyed Every Moment of it *at the time.*

Looking back, however, "I must have been Insane!" but given the right car, I'd probably do it all over again.

Thanks everyone for the welcome back, etc. I will update my signature with profile specifics. I heard my cat growl again I am to get it back Monday. It was the fuel pumps. So a little lighter in the pocket but look forward to getting it back. Will get the tensioners done between now and may.
