Cool Just joined up !

Hi Everybody,

Newbie to this site, so this is my first post.

I'm just starting to research & find a E-Type FHC to buy during the next year or so, so lots to learn before taking "the plunge" and buying.

Always had BMW's during my life and been an active member of various forums in the UK over the last 15 years, but now it's time for a change !

Thx
Nickleback

Hi there, Welcome to JaguarForums and one of the friendliest bunches of Jaguar fans you will find anywhere :-) I see that Jim has given you a few pointers to get you started - so it just leaves me to say Welcome :-)
If you get a chance to have a look in the UK regional section you will see that there are events around the country where you can meet other members, put names to faces and cars and have a great day out.. if you get the opportunity to sign up to a meet near you it will likely be be well worth going :-)
Please enjoy your time online here and it's good to have you onboard

Well, after a search lasting 8 months, I finally found what I wanted.
It's a rolling restoration, 1970 S2 FHC matching numbers in vgc from California in White with Black leather.
Hopefully will be "on the road" in the UK in May & at the moment the only thing I'm changing is LHD to RHD & I will run it through the summer & see how she settles down & what needs sorting
Here she is Stateside !

Looks great.

Californian car so none of the rust we normally have to battle on 1960's and 70's Jaguars in the UK.

If I lived in the South East, I'd be keeping it LHD to enjoy on the Continent!

Graham
