Default Just a Question

This question is obviously designated for the mods, but anyone that can answer is welcome to.

First, I would like to be clear by stating that "I would just like to know the answer, I am not trying to be a jerk!"

Why is the viewing of members photos prohibited for 'new members'? I would love to see the pics posted and can't, for the life of me, figure out what harm that would cause.

Quite simple really, and nothing against genuine members.

If as a member, you can view, then you can post. We had to introduce certain restrictions to combat Spam attacks.

Although UNLIKE many car forums we do allow people to view the threads etc, without the requirement to be a member.

Hang in there, read the link in my sig', make a few more posts, maybe dive into the Off Topic section if you are stuck for inspiration, and either the Software will kick in, or, Admin will give you Full Access.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

One other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.
