Hello all, I guess this is how you do an intro....we hail from Franklinton, nc.
Just got our hands on a 1989 xj6 in pretty rough condition, have got it to try to start with a little ether and gas but fuel does not flow from the pump. The tank is very rusty inside and I am In the process of removing it for replacement.

 

Welcome Kidchip! You should post a pic of your Jag. I have an X-Type but I love the bigger XJ6's and XJ8's. You will find a ton of info here on restoring your car and save a lot of cash doing things yourself.

I've only had my X a few months but I have made great use of the forum to avoid the gotchas of buying a used car! There is a lot of "hindsight" to be had here for free!
