Default Looking to buy a 1997 XK8

I've found a beautiful 1997 XK8 convertible, I asked my mechanic if there are any known problems. His response was high potential for electrical problems. Can anyone provide me an honest opinion on common issues with this model?

Thanks and hope to soon be a fellow Jag owner...

I have a 1997 XK8 with a 116,000 miles from new. If you have a good battery electrical isn't a problem, a weak battery with throw all kinds of gremlins. When you have time stop by the X100 forum and post your question there and we can give you some hints for things to check.
