Default Los Angeles has one more Jaguar

Hello All,
I recently inherited a 2004 XJ VDP and am enjoying cruising the LA metroplex in something infinitely more stylish than the hoards of currently fashionable angry puppies.
I live in Glendora but work in Beverly Hills, hence this cat will see many miles. With this in mind I'd like to lock down the location of a good indy garage for the inevitable maintenance. So far I'm striking out. Any LA locals care to give me some pointers?
Thanks in advance!

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. I had to Google your commute to find it's an 80 mile round trip. You certainly will be racking up the miles!

Possibly Pasadenamotorcars.com. He has posted here and I think he will do the transmission flush. I have not used them since my car is still under warranty. Do a search on this forum and give them a call. Not too far from Beverly Hills.

Thanks PP, I'm in Pasadena on Friday and was planning to swing by Pasadena British Services on Nina anyway, looks like Pasadenamotorcars is just a mile east of there so hopefully my batting average will improve.

Both the above garages will perform the trans flush. Both are reasonably priced and have knowledgeable staff. However Pasadena British Services is the only shop I've found that truly passes the audition:
1) No BS about lifetime fluids - top quote: "Yes, Bentley used to claim that.... and look how that bit them in the ***...." as we surveyed a row of sad looking Continentals
2) No nonsense about the fluid being super expensive (ZF lifeguard just ain't that hard to google guys)
3) Very matter of fact about the whole thing: It's not a big deal. It's strange to say but some of the shops I've visited almost seemed intimidated by the prospect of doing the work.
Any how now I've found my shop I thought I'd at least put up the results for future searchers.
