A big hello to everyone..

I hail from Motherwel, which is located 15mls due east of Glasgow.

I am an keen Jaguar enthusiast

To date I have owned and enjoyed the following "Cats"

1990' "TWR" JaguarSport "XJR" (XJ40 Chassis). Full Black (de-chromed) TWR tuned AJ6 Straight-6 Engine and TWR Uprated suspension.
One of 450 produce at the TWR factory in 1990 (the year before Ford took the XJR Marque production "in-house")
Sold in 2004 because "the wife" would not let me have x3 cars on the drive.. .. truley regretful.. i wish that i kept her and restored her fully..

1995' XJR-s (X300) 4.0 Straight-6 AJ16 with Eaton Supercharger - Black (again). Build quuality was a step-up from the XJ40 and boy it could shift..

Present car and best yet.
Dec 1998 (99' spec) XKR - Pheonix Red with Black interior. Not my first exterior colour choice - but I could not pass her up.. supplied to me with a "brand-new" engine fitted by the main-dealer with invoice and warranty - so far I've covered only 7k "summer" miles (in three years)...

I had the car fully re-painted this summer removing the door mouldings, bumper reflectors and updated to a 2005 spec front end..
I will post pictures ..once I fugure it out..

This winter I hope to replace all the suspension/subframe bushes, x4 hub bearings and all the brake-pipes..
I have a little "play" in the steering rack inboard track rod (driver-side) so my MOT station tester advises, althought this may be due to a little play in the wheel bearing... If so I may remove the rack and have it re-built.. all in time for next summer..

I may be asking you guys for some pointers on the above tasks.

till then.....

all the best......

Brian (flikz)

Thanks for the welcomes guys..

I have been visittng the forum quite frequesntly over the past weeks (usualy when i need to know something about the XKR's little "nuances"

I am a member of another Jaguar forum as well as VW and Nissan forums (Former Z300TT owner) here in the UK..

I must admit the level of support and the gernerally Positive "vibe" from this forum is really refreshing..

Uploading.
Can I upload pictures direct from my PC or up-load to photo-bucket (or similar) and copy the link over?

all the best

flikz
