Default Mike from Kentucky

MerHello everyone. My name is Mike and I'm one of your newest members.

I have a fairly diverse background when it comes to turning wrenches. I spent about 30 years working on tanks in the U.S. Army. After I left the military, and I began to miss working with my hands, I started seeking work via friends and acquaintances. Over the last 2 years particularly, I have had the luxury to work on several imported vehicles such as a 90 Mercedes 420 SEL, a 2001 Mercedes CLK430, a 2010 Mercedes E350 and now I'm having acquaintances send me work on Jaguar's.

My latest job is in fact a 2003 Jaguar X-Type with a 2.5l engine. It is giving me the fits right now, hence the reason I'm here; not to mention to hang out with other like minded people.

If you believe you can help me with my weird fuel pressure and CRANK/NO START problems, please stop by the X-Type forum and lend a guy a hand, haha.

Thanks and I look forward to helping where I can.

Best,
Mike

Welcome to the forums Mike,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum with the no start issue so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, Mike,
Wrenching on machinery is quite satisfying, isn't it. When you're finished you can stand back and see you've done something.
Machines have no agenda, don't hole grudges (well, Jags sometimes do) and don't pout if you drove the other car to town.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
