Moving over from the Mercedes forums - Pennsylvania
New here. Gotta post, right? LOL!
Just picked up a 2007 X-Type with 31,000 miles for a song. Already spent 3 or 4 hours on here reading posts about transfer case fluid changing, suspension improvements, and some other stuff.
A long time do-it-myselfer. Active member of a Mercedes forum where I nursed a '95 E420 through many repairs and many mods, and a '89 300SE. Enjoyed that forum immensely.
Love the AWD feature of my Jag. I live out in the country where the government doesn't see fit to plow snow! haha!
Look forward to talking to all of you.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I never buy a car unless it's guaranteed to cause me fits & frustration...and require a forum membership to keep running! haha!
Seriously, I had heard all the downside stuff about Jaguars, but I loved the look and the way it drove. Figuring I could rebuild Mercedes engines, I had enough "experience & bravado" to keep a Jaguar from sending me to the poorhouse.
Looking forward to getting to know some of you better.
8 more post to go?? lol!

Thanks for the nice "welcomes" from everyone.
And JimC64....thanks for the upgrade. Now I can view the pdf's I've been wanting to see.
And JimC64...mind if I ask a question? Hope this is not personal. The pictures on your heading...the young lady with the funny shirt about being a bad boy. Is she family? She's cute, but I don't want to say anything if she is, like, your wife, or daughter, or something. But funny shirt!
