Welcome to the Forums.

Diesels, oops, no idea.

Battery integrity, or lack of, is a well known issue with odd behaviour in the Gasoline cars.

The X Type people will know, and remember the USA never got the Diesel, so UK, Europe OZ is the go to for answers when the planets align.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forums Deany49,

Good to have you with us.

With error codes it's always best to give the actual code and not a description. Any source other than the Jaguar lookup tables can often be misleading

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
