Hey Everyone, James from Georgia here!
My family has bestowed to me my first Jaguar! I have a knack for restoring and saving old cars worth saving so this worked its way into my lap. I have never worked on or driven a Jaguar but its always been a dream of mine! Not sure this is how I saw that dream going down but I will take it!
She is a 1992 XJ6 Vanden Plas. She is straight and rust free but oh boy is she gonna need some love. It "Ran when parked" in 2001 but a house fire took the keys. As of today I got a key cut for it today so the fun has started!
It gave a good battle with some fresh gas but I ended up chasing down a no spark scenario. The ignition Coil is showing 7.20 kilo ohms so thinking that might have something to do with it! Once the new coil/plugs and wires get here I will update on progress!
