Hey everyone,
i just picked up a 97 xk8 this weekend. 87k miles FL car.

It is white with tan interior - not sure the actual color names yet. I thinki stole it, picked it up for $5600

Of course i didn't get a pristine car for that ,
the problems that i have to figure out include neutral safety switch
inop driver window and power recline on the driver's seat doesnt work.

I look forward to being a member and I will try to post some DIY's as i complete these repairs.

The problems you describe are common...very common. Don't reinvent the wheel; instead, use the search feature and you'll find the answers you seek. Or, experiment and maybe find some creative alternative solutions.

If you get the neutral safety switch repaired/swapped, with some DIY instructions, let me know! Mine is just starting to give me fits. $600 at an indy shop if I take it in.
