From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge. Enjoy!
The S-type forum is located here:https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...s-home-207524/I
In order to address your error code, P1594 Charging System Voltage Too High, the forum will need to know which engine is installed your S-type. as the 3.0 V6 and 4.2 V8 have different charging systems, the logic circuits for which are located inside of the alternator.
Perhaps one of our Moderators can move this inquiry to the S-type forum.

Welcome to the forum Joe,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Interesting code - not one that is defined by Jaguar on the 2003 S-Type. Unless there is actually a fault on the vehicle, I would question the compatability of the code reader.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
