Default New 07 XK Owner but not new to the Forum

Greetings All!

After owning 2 XK8's, I am in phase 3 of my progression of XK(x)'s! I picked up an '07 this week and am really excited to learn about it. I live outside of Chicago and am happy to help and receive help any time!

Apparently I am going to be missing tensioner issues, wheel bearings that are too small, Nikosil, Convertible top fluid pouring on me, melting water pump impellers, etc.

But possibly gaining dashboard stress, AC condensation on my floor (already serviced at dealer in my new cars history), and voltage leak causing me routine moments of drama every time I hit the start button! (anything else?) But you have to love 'em!

So far the '07 is noticeably quicker than the previous body style and the top disappearing into the body is only appropriate for such a classy car. And a touch of exhaust noise...Wow these guys were listening to us all along!!

You've gone the same route as me with two XK8's followed by an XK. Forget about unreliable temperature gauges - this model doesn't even have one.

No need for any links as you know your way around the forum.

Enjoy your new toy.

Graham
