Hi all

I was at a recent Jaguar meet in Victoria BC.

I walked by this handsome looking auto and thought that would be nice to own.

The original owner told me it was for sale, my wife and I said “Sold”! The car has only 88,000 Km on it!

I do have one issue a/c not blowing cold. Had it recharged still not working.

A very kind Jaguar owner gave me following information;

“I have verified that the procedure of removing the compressor valve and spring and reversing their installation (that is putting the valve in first and the spring second), also applies to the 2000 S-Type. Jaguar published a repair notice for this to correct complaints of insufficient cooling. The refrigerant must be evacuated and replaced as part of this repair.”

Now I’m looking for a shop in the Vancouver BC area that can assist with repairs.

Meanwhile I’m excited to get this car out on the road and cruise in comfort!
