Default New 2003 XKR Conv owner in Finland

Hi everyone,
I bought my first Jaguar a couple of months ago from UK. It's MY2003 XKR Convertible 4.2L (RHD). I used agency Car Exporters UK who took care of car inspection, buying and shipping.
I live in southern Finland near Helsinki area.
Generally the car was in superb condition only some quite minor type problems needed fixing, like windows and headrests.

The mandatory registration inspection is now done here in Finland and the weather is finally such I can start driving even top down.

Welcome to the forums Jyrki,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum with the minor problems so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello, Jyrki,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar!
To some of the rest of the world, a Convertible in Finland seems a bit odd to say the least. We all think you might have about 20 minutes each year to drive such a car. But a Glorious 20 minutes it would be!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Yes, and it's that 20min here now. Temp is almost +20C, snow is mostly gone and the sun is shining!
