Hello, Darren: Welcome. Did you really intend to send us off to the DVLA to try to figure out what kind of Jaguar you have acquired? It looks like it is some kind of 2006 Diesel. Could you be a bit more specific as to the model?

Please also be advised that the vast majority of the forum members here will have little to no knowledge regarding diesel powered Jags as this variant was never officially imported to North America, where most of us reside...

Welcome to the forums Darren,

Good to have you with us.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
