Hi,

My name is Michael, from Bothell, WA. Just picked up a 1993 XJ6 that hadn't run for a while so I'm learning as I go. So far, with winter coming, I find I need to figure out my heater...Ice on windshield wasn't too fun this morning. I also have started pulling the old fuel out of the tank as I'm thinking that it might have to do with the loss of power on acceleration..almost totally bogs down. I need to find a left front park lamp and a left front side marker lens without spending a fortune..Divorce going on. After that I'll get onto the windshield washer pumps. I have a service shop so I do have that going for me. One of my first repair to perform is to clean up all the corroded grounds i'm finding. I do know that I will be spending money but i'm always searching for the best deals. Nice to see this Forum as I plan to use everyone's wisdom to the full extent.

Welcome! Sounds like you have found yourself a project. The XJ40 is a worthy car, and I'm sure you will find lots of suggestions here on the forum for working out its issues. See it as a process, and enjoy the ride!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
