Finally decided to join the forum, rather than merely 'lurk'. Bought an immaculate white 2005 XK8 a year ago, and have already gained good advice from this forum - thanks to all!. We found it in Texas, and drove it home to Montana via the West Coast... a great trip. (BTW, should anyone happen to have a 2004-2006 XK8 in seafrost that they'd like to sell, my wife has already mentioned the possibility that we should have both a "his" and "hers"...)
Welcome to the forums Galen,
Good to have you with us and to hear you've gained good advice from the forum.
As you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum, there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Central Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-central-36/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Hello, Galen,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar (Any ownership less than a year is a new car here)! I don't imagine you find very many Jags in Big Sky Country. You'll certainly know which car in the parking lot is yours!
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB, a former Montanan.

I have seen a few cats around town over the past few years, including a couple of XK8s... but you're right, there's no issue identifying my car in a parking lot! Not a big marque here - nearest dealer is in Spokane, four hours away...
