Hi my name is Doug Thiel I am new to joining this forum and I appreciate the assistance I have had so far. As my username states I live in Miami and I own a 1997 Jaguar XK-8 convertible which i just love to drive. As you know the weather in Miami is always great for the having the top down (daytime in the summer excluded) so I take advantage of that and enjoy that luxury ..... I have owned my XK-8 for just over a year it has become my everyday car it has 97k and is in mint condition ...I just recently put all new brakes, a new transmission and a set of Bridgestone Serenity tires on the car and it runs smooth. I am presently having a little challenge but I will get this cleared up.. it is a pleasure to be here! thanks and great to meet you all!

I've seen your posts in the XK8/R section - take a look at the first few threads for how to's downloads, TSB's - just a ton of stuff to keep your cat running great.

Also check out the Lower Atlantic regional section for local news/events. Fla has frequent gatherings that may interest you.

Lastly recommend clicking the user cp link in the upper left and adding a signature - include model and year for best responses from the techs

I can see you have alreqady found your way to the XK8/XKR tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
