Hey All,
Recently bought a 95 Jaguar XJ6 (160,000)from a friend and definitely love it. Fuel pump went out about a week after I got it but replaced it and drives damn well. Am excited to put some more work into it and get all the quirks worked out. Some issues it has it that the heater blows but doesn't produce any heat, the AC doesn't work either, nor the defroster. I have just been leaving it alone until I figure out what to do. Luckily Northern California weather isn't bad though it's been raining like crazy. The radio wasn't working but I saw on the forum that if I pressed the tape eject button it may work and went out and it came back to life which made me really happy. I only heard sound from the back right speaker so will check more out tomorrow as it's almost 1 am and not in a garage. The check engine light is on don't know what codes it's producing though. Also, the coolant light is on even though there is plenty in there. The engine sounds great the only real complaint driving I have is in the shifting though it's not bad at all and I'm sure a fluid flush will do the trick. The rest is aesthetics that I know of but I have all the records and will see what else I can do. Thanks for all the info and help I've already gotten this place is great!
