Bought a black 2004 XKR convertible a few years ago, when it had 16K on it--now it has only 17K. Thought the '04 and 05' were the last years of the most beautiful design, having been in love with XKE's many years ago.

In SE Kansas, have had two problems: the leaking hydraulics for the top and a bad fuel pump in the tank, which I hope never to experience again.

The only change I would consider some day is applying some made cover over the rear seats, making it appear to be a two-seater--there's not even room enough for a dog back there, unless it would be a decorator dog.

Follow Norri's link in post #3 to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
