Hi everyone. Love my STR, although it can be a PITA. I have learned and want to share that owning a Jaguar doesn't have to cost your first born. Finding parts online for good prices and making friends with a mechanic outside of a shop will make repairs and maintanence a breeze. I hope to provide and find support with the common issues of these awesome cars and build a new Jaguar nation. Thanks to the members and those behind the scenes keeping the site running strong.

Welcome to the forum and from Australia PoBoi.
Totally agree with you. Jags are not as expensive to keep on the road as many believe.

Sourcing parts online and the valuable resources found right here on the forum make them a species worth building into a nation. Maybe just a small nation though as I like the fact they are a little 'different'

Cheers,Neil

Default Welcome to Jaguar Forums

Welcome PoBoi ... and greetings from yet another enthusiast in Australia.

I also encourage you, as per the links others have posted, to jump over to the S-Type/STR model specific section where there is plenty to read and absorb ... also, to visit the regional section shared by other members in your area ... and finally, to add your car details to your signature as a permanent flag to enable other members to offer accurate advice.

I sense you need some help with the latter ... to Add or Edit your Signature, from Main Menu, click <User CP> then <Edit Signature>. In the process, you'll observe nearby option re Avatar, and this is the method used to add a pic to your PoBoi handle each time you post. Hope this helps ...

All that remains is to dive into the forum ... and enjoy!

Best wishes,
Ken

Welcome to the forum PoBoi,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Steve's link in post #5 to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
