Default New Guy

So hello all, My name is Anton

I own a 2002 Lincoln LS which you may know, is basically a Jag. I am working on putting together a new project using an XKR motor to supercharge my 3.9. I will also be putting in the xkr connecting rods as to "stroke" the motor.

I know a lot about the car and have done a lot of research. What I joined here for is to learn as much as possible about the XKR motor, and so on.

I am not new to the forum world, as I have been on my lincoln one for several years, if you would like to check out anything I have done there go to lincolnvscadillac.com and check out the LS section, my username is 2002_lincolnLS

So anyways, here are some pics of my car.

Welcome to the forum Anton,

I can see we're going to have to work on you to encourage you to get the rest of the XKR as well!

The FAQ's on the XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section is a good place to start for the information you're after.

The Jaguar Engines - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section will also help.

Be interesting to follow progress with this mod.

Good luck.

Graham

Welcome to the forum Anton,

Good to have you with us.
That sounds like an interesting project, I'll keep an eye out for the updates.

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Graham,

I don't know that a whole XKR is in the future, if I do end up with a jag it will be an e-type. I love those cars.

Jim, thank you, I have only been here a few days and already found a wealth of knowledge which will be crucial to my build.
