Default New Guy and his XKR

All:

Just joined the forum (okay, why else would I be posting here?) I am from southeast Virginia and am on my third Jaguar.

My first Jaguar was a 2004 X-Type. I loved it, but eventually moved on to a 2003 S-Type. It was a beautiful car until it was flooded during a bad noreaster... I took a hitatus from Jaguars for a couple years with a MINI, but as of yesterday I sold my MINI and am back to Jaguars again with the purchase of a beautiful XKR 100.

My wife's uncle just retired from several decades as the general manager of a Jaguar dealership, so I've been well supplied with Jaguar trinkets (I carry my Jaguar Mont Blanc pen daily, even when I was driving my MINI)...maybe it's in the blood?

I look forward to learning more here on the forum!

Dave

Hey Dave, good to see you jumped right in! Appreciate the intro too, many don't stop by to get a proper welcoming.

An XKR 100 huh, those are pretty special, would love to see some pics when you get it all shiny and presentable.

All:

Thanks for the warm welcome! Once I have the car in hand (it's currently being shipped to me) I'll post up some pics. I'm really happy to be going back into "familiar" territory with a Jaguar!

Welcome aboard Dave. You are going to have to adjust your right foot after the Mini.

XKR 100, very nice!

Thought dawned on me...why wait for good weather here to photograph the car when I have photos from the seller? Aha! So, to whet appetites, here's some pics. It was love at first sight, really.........
