Default New Guy MK2 owner here

Well, I was told that one should not start there classic car hobby with Jag. I didn't listen real well because we fell in love with the MK2. It is so much better looking then other sedans/Saloons from that time we jumped in an bought a 1962 MK2 3.8L automatic. Wanted a stick but got (what I think) is a great deal on the car.
We've never owned a classic so it's going to be an adventure for sure.

Welcome to the forum Lou,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the
MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello Lou! Welcome to the forum and it's glad I am to see another enthusiast in (almost) my neighborhood! I agree that the Mk II is the prize among Jaguar Saloons of the fifties and sixties. Like a four-door XK-150, one of which I was fortunate enough to own, many years ago.
