Default New Guy from North Dakota

Hello all, I have 3 Jags at the moment; a 1985 XJ6, a 2000 XJ8, and my sick Jag, which is a 1982 XJS HE. Also in my collection are 2 BMWs one is a 1991 325 IE and a 2001 745 IE, a '98 GMC Yukon, a '72 Jeep Commando, an '80 Chevy Monza Spyder, a '83 Ford Thunderbird, a '75 Ford Custom 500 Ranch Wagon and a '83 Honda Goldwing. Some are project cars and some are flip cars...my Jags aren't flips though, those are my babies! I'll try and get some decent pics up when I have the chance. I would like any advice on resurrecting an old cat that I picked up. I've heard about the Megasquirt and would like to know if there is a manual to swap out my old fuel module for a Megasquirt set up. I would also prefer to get rid of the distributor in favor of a distributor-less ign. system. Any sites or liks that you could possibly give me would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the process of deleting the air pump and doing a GM alt. swap, also getting rid of the belt driven cooling fan in favor of elec. units. I'm also replacing all the vac. lines since the car won't idle right. I checked the AAV, it seems fine...car has a rough idle and dies if your light on the throttle. It will rev higher if you feather the throttle and then she takes off and revs fine at higher RPMs. If there are any ideas other than a vacuum leak that would cause these symptoms I would love to hear them. I've got a sick kitty that longs for the wind on it's fur...Please help me save her...many thanks!

Welcome.

Top fleet there.

The V12 is a project, no matter which way you look at it.

Lots of info on the XJS section.

Good luck.
