Default New Guy from Oregon

Greetings All,

New guy here, from Sandy, Oregon. My wife and I are the proud owners of an 2002 S-Type (V6). It is the most practical car in our stable:

1948 ****** (Jeep) CJ-2A
1963 ****** Wagon
1966 Corvair Corsa

You can read more about my Jeep-related adventures here. I suggest starting at my "Marriage and Jeeps" section, but just change Jeep to Jaguar and it should all make sense:

Marriage and Jeeps

By day I'm an airline mechanic, but on the side I also write a column for a Jeep magazine under the "Dr. Vern" pen name. (A long story...) Here's my column from a few years ago when I first brought my Jag home, which you will hopefully enjoy:

Welcome to the forum
Be sure to drop by the newly created Pacific Northwest section and say hi there too!

Maybe we'll meet up at an event or drive next summer!

Lol,

Just noted you were a Mechanic (I assume A&P?)
Sadly I'm not in the industry (long story), but am licensed myself... Looking forward to a chance to talk aircraft with ya some day... I visit McMinnville about once a year, maybe we can get together for a drive and a chat in that direction sometime!

Again, welcome!
Vince
