Hello to everyone. First post and I have already messed up. My screen name is supposed to be "Judspin" and I must have added a letter, so now I`m juidspin. Anyway, my Jag is a 2003 XJ8, 122,000 miles showing, but I suspect it`s got more. I`m enjoying reading some posts. Thanks for allowing me to join in.

The easiest way is to register again as judspin and I can then remove the juidspin registration.
2003 was a model change year for Jaguar. Is your XJ8 one of the last of the steel bodied X308's or one of the first of the aluminium bodied X350's? Following a long tradition of naming confusion, Jaguar badged them both a XJ8.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also use the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region.

Hello again. I think that my user name has been corrected. It`s judspin. I have a 2003 S type and a 2003 XJ8, which I`m working on. My S type was bought new in September 2002, the XJ8 is well used, to put it mildly. I love old Jags, I know they are problems to work on, but I`m long retired and consider the XJ as a "hobby". I`ve received a few good tips by reading through the forums. I`m an old guy: in my youth, I was a Marine fighter pilot, did a tour aboard USS Lexington, and spent a year in lovely South VietNam
