Welcome to the forums Craig,

A wise choice to read the codes. I always do and am suspicious of any vendor reluctant to allow it. Regular maintenance is critical with any Jaguar. This is usually on a time basis rather than miles as few US owners appear to cover sufficient miles. Spend some time with the Owner's Handbook and make sure everything works. Apparently minor electrical faults often prove expensive to rectify.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-x350-x358-28/ to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-central-36/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome to the Forums.

Graham and John have nailed it, dont be afraid to "walk away" if it just feels wrong.

Good luck.
